Why membership matters

Membership helps keep vintage computing accessible.

MAC Museum is kept open by practical, ongoing support from people who want these machines to be seen, used, repaired, and remembered. Every membership helps cover the ordinary costs that make the extraordinary part possible: open days, working exhibits, repairs, and a space people can actually visit.

  • Rent and utilitiesThe physical showroom needs rent, utilities, and insurances arranged before the doors can open.
  • Parts and repairsVintage computers need new components, spare parts, cleaning supplies, and plenty of patient troubleshooting.
  • Public accessMembership helps keep admission approachable while still supporting the cost of running open days.
