Tips

For an enjoyable visit.

  • No food and drinks please. Water bottles are fine, but please no food or other drinks. You are welcome to pop out for a drink or meal and come back.
  • Dress for the warehouse conditions. The location can get warm in summer and cold in winter, so dress light on warmer days and bring an extra layer on cooler days.
  • There is plenty to see. There are over 100 computers on display and around 18 functioning exhibits.
  • Please use working exhibits gently. For exhibits set up to be used, please restrict usage to the keyboard and mouse. Plastic cases and components can become brittle, so please do not pick up or move computers or monitors.
  • Ask if you would like a closer look. If you would like to look inside a computer or explore its physical functionality further, just ask. Matthew is happy to assist where possible.
  • Check the FAQs. The FAQ page includes additional visit details.
